This paper aims to analyze the New Mexican School (NEM) proposal to integrate Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) into educational processes, emphasizing methodologies that promote a comprehensive education focused on students’ well-being and holistic development. Through a documentary and theoretical review, it reflects on how the use of ICT can strengthen critical and analytical thinking, enhance constructivist learning, and encourage the practical application of knowledge in solving everyday problems. It also examines the potential of digital technologies to foster more innovative, creative, and contextually responsive teaching practices.
